West Knoxville’s Tuk Tuk Thai Fusion lets you get spicy

My Grub Cup runneth over. Thanks to a rare streak of restaurant openings and discoveries, I have places to visit lined up through March 2022. After doing some minor shuffling to accommodate last week’s schedule, I wound up moving Tuk Tuk Thai Fusion to the top of the list. That’s where I met The Grub Spouse for a weekend dinner.

We were the only patrons on hand at the time we arrived (more arrived as our meal progressed), and we weren’t even sure if it was a full-service establishment or if we’d be lined up in a queue to order at a counter. Fortunately, we were ushered to a cozy booth and settled in for an evening of Asian food.

The menu isn’t voluminous, but it does offer a respectable array of what is primarily Thai food. The appetizers offer up a familiar assortment of items such as Crab Rangoon, satay chicken, edamame and a Thai dumpling. I also noticed a beef salad (made…
