Weichai’s 3MW generator powers Koh Sichang reliably

The Weichai Koh Sichang Power Station, operational since 2019, has safely run for 5 years, surpassing 30,000 hours of operation, setting a remarkable example of cooperation.

Koh Sichang, located southeast of Bangkok, covers 17 square kilometres and is home to about 5,000 permanent residents.

The Koh Sichang power station, with a 3MW installed capacity powered by three Weichai 12M33 generating sets, primarily serves the electricity needs of local island merchants and residents, operating for an average of 16 hours per day.

Since its inception, the Weichai 12M33 generating sets at this power station have demonstrated exceptional performance, including robust power output, fuel efficiency, environmental adaptability, high automation, noise control, and low maintenance costs.
