What’s the weather generally like in October (mid – late October)

I have a trip planned with some friends & understand this falls under the rainy seasons for Thailand, however I’ve seen conflicting info, some saying it may not rain at all, others saying it’s like basically attending a water park for your duration (ofc none of us can truly predict weather)

But what’s your general experiences regarding the weather around the time stated above?
