I’ve used a few of those baht-a-liter refill stations and haven’t had any problems with them. My students, when I asked them, acted like these things are disgusting and unsanitary.
I can see if they aren’t maintained properly, and are dirty enough, that there could be very little, if any, benefit to using it. Is there anything you can look at (on the exterior, I don’t think I can just open it up and look at the pipes) to see how well taken care of it is?
