A woman found herself in the midst of an unexpected and terrifying situation when she spotted a snake at a hand’s distance from where she was cooking dinner. As she was preparing dinner outside her family home, stirring durian in a gas-powered wok, the snake appeared out of nowhere. The King Cobra, an intimidating 12 feet in length, slithered across the driveway towards her.
The chilling scene was captured on CCTV. The King Cobra, known for its lethal venom, moved quickly towards the unsuspecting woman cooking outside.
Without any provocation, the snake launched its attack. It slid between her legs, then turned around, rearing up and flaring its black hood in a display of dominance and threat. The cobra then lashed out towards her leg, its fangs mere inches away from piercing her skin.

The incident took place in Thailand’s Surat Thani.
Internet users had numerous reactions. While some were confused as to why the snake attacked the woman without any trigger, others guessed that it could be because of durian, which has a pungent and strong smell.
