All members of the Thai national team training for their remaining three Group G matches of the second Asian qualifying stage for the 2022 Fifa World Cup have been declared free of the coronavirus infection.
The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) announced yesterday that none of the players and team staff had tested positive in a second round of Covid-19 virus check.
The squad’s training was suspended on May 8 when reports emerged that two players and four members of the national team staff had been infected with the coronavirus.
The FAT had also advised the second set of players against joining the camp on Monday and all members of the team in the camp were asked to self-isolate.
