A year after Olga Matveenkova and Andrei Matveenkova opened Sourdough Bangkok on Silom’s Pan Road, the couple’s short-lived bakery dedicated to traditional sourdough is up for grabs.
Baking with an all-natural starter — no commercial yeast involved — on a stone for just the right amount of sourness, crunch, and chew; the Russian couple hopes to show the ropes to its new owners, passing on their unique bread recipes, along with a fully equipped kitchen and cafe.
Last week, the two announced via Facebook that they were looking for new owners as they plan to leave Bangkok.
Fans of its authentic sourdough can take heart in knowing the shop won’t go away if it finds new owners.
