KHON KAEN: Three people were injured in a head-on collision between two pickups caused by water buffaloes crossing a road in Mancha Khiri district on Wednesday.
The accident occurred about 8.30am on Mancha Khiri-Khok Phochai road, Pol Capt Pongpichit Thanapanpakdi said.
According to witnesses, a mother buffalo and her male calf ran out in front of a Ford Ranger heading for Khok Phochai district from Macha Khiri.
The pickup hit the two buffaloes before swerving across the middle line and colliding with an oncoming Isuzu.
Both pickups were badly damaged.
