Enter the dreaming when a multi-sensory digital art installation arrives in Bangkok for one month, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Australia’s indigenous arts, culture, and creativity.
Previously held in Australia and Europe, Walking Through a Songline is coming to the Thailand Creative & Design Center next month with Australia’s ancient knowledge and identity captured in an immersive experience of sound and vibrant imagery.
The installation takes visitors into light projections that create a representation of a songline – also called a “dreaming track” – that’s used in Aboriginal culture to navigate the land by repeating words of a song.
The exhibition is developed by the National Museum of Australia and Melbourne-based artist duo Mosster Studio, whose works are known to merge art, design, and technology.
