My girlfriend is currently working and studying in Bangkok for a short period (she is a foreigner and not native to Thailand) and I’d like to go visit her for up to 3 months.
I was going to apply for a single-entry tourist visa and try extend for 30 days but was wondering if it’s possible to visit her on a non-immigrant type O visa. Do we HAVE to be married for this to be a valid option (most embassy websites say spouse/family – does this extend to gf)?
I could also get the multiple entry visa and save the hastle of extending the single-entry visa. Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated, thanks!
