We have a bed and breakfast hotel on the West Coast, North of Patong, but unsure what sort of prices to look for food when we’re out and about. We want to avoid being ripped off, basically!
We’re definitely not fussy eaters, and local food will be our go to. I’ve seen really mixed reports of how much a plate of pad Thai (for example) will cost around the beaches & when out on day trips (near Big Buddha or elephant sanctuaries).
Also, as a Westerner with little experience travelling Asia, is there anything I should mindful of? I’ve found out vaping is prohibited and that we should dress conservatively around Temples, but any other faux pas or tips?
