Thinking of visiting Thailand January/February
Hi all. I’m sorry if this has been posted before, but looking for recommendations of traveling to Thailand in Jan/Feb.
I’m about to turn 30 , from the UK and I have always wanted to visit Thailand. I’m thinking of going for 3 maybe 4 weeks and thinking of a week/10 days in Bangkok, but after that. No clue! Or maybe longer in Bangkok, to get over jetlag or sightsee?
I’m thinking of visiting in January/February because as far as I’m aware it’s on the “Cooler” side. (If there’s such a thing in Thailand!)
I like to visit Museums, Do shopping, Try out different foods, I like to have a few drinks, but I’m not a clubber or a type to stay out all night. I’m more of an Afternoon/early night drinker. I also like to have sometimes just a day chilled by the pool/sea. I’m not really into Gogo bars. But I’m bisexual and like to explore the gay Nightlife.
I’ve heard great things about Chang Mai and Phuket. Pattaya I’ve heard it’s more seedy?
I would like some help or suggestions please.
Is there any subreddits where solo travelers look to meetup?
