I’m currently in Thailand and have to visit the Thai embassy in Ho Chi Minh city on 30th October to change my Thai visa to a non-immigrant type.
Last night I began the application process for the Vietnam E-visa and after entering the payment details, it reverts to the webpage where I entered my card details.
I used the registration code to search for my application progress and it shows ‘payment not made’.
I’ve also checked my bank account and it is not showing any payment pending for the Vietnam E-visa application.
I did a quick Google search and it appears that many people have encountered difficulties with the Vietnam E-Visa application website.
I’ve tried again this morning and resubmitted the application and attempted to pay again but it did the same thing again and show’s as payment not made and my bank account is not showing any charges pending…
I’m using a debit MasterCard so I expect it should be compatible with the payment portal.
Starting to get really annoyed with it to be honest and considering applying for the visa on arrival and approval letter instead.
How are the visa on arrival is supposedly only available to tourists who have pre-booked a tour with travel agency??
I found some visa agents that claim to source the entry approval letter for around $17 USD, but once I begin the application process the fees jumps up to over $50 USD….
Anyone able to offer me any suggestions???
