Two People Injured in Sri Racha Car Accident

Sri Racha —

A water truck collided with two other vehicles, causing significant damage and resulting in two people getting injured. The incident took place in Sri Racha yesterday, September 28th.

The mishap was reported to the Bo Win Police Station in Chonburi province. It occurred at the intersection of Route 331 in the Bo Win sub-district. When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found three vehicles involved in the collision: A 6-wheel water truck, which had collided with the rear of a gray Isuzu pickup truck, and another gray Nissan pickup truck.

All three vehicles blocked the lanes on the road. There were two people who had been injured including the driver of the water truck named Mr. Phithak Intha, 40, and another unidentified person.

According to local rescuers, Phithak seemed intoxicated and talked incoherently. He and another unidentified injured individual were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses to the accident told local media that the water truck crashed into other cars parked at a red light without breaking. The truck also left a skid mark extending for more than 30 meters.

Sri Racha police said they would question the water truck driver once he recovered.
