Two Nakhon Phanom villages under Covid lockdown

NAKHON PHANOM: Two villages in That Phanom district have been placed under lockdown after a woman vendor was diagnosed with Covid-19 – the first infection in this northeastern border province.

The 14-day lockdown of Moo 8 and Moo 15 villages in tambon Phra Klang Thung was ordered by governor Kraisorn Kongchalad, as chairman of the provincial communicable disease committee. The two villages’ combined population is about 200.

The infected woman, 51, sells food at Ban Nong Khaen, or Moo 8 village.
