Two locked down villages reopened

NAKHON PHANOM: Two locked down villages in That Phanom district have been reopened after more than 1,400 people in contact with the sole Covid-19 patient all tested negative.

Provincial governor Kraisorn Kongchalad, as chairman of the communicable disease committee, issued the order on Tuesday.

Two villages in tambon Phra Klang Thungj were locked down last week, Moo 8 and Moo 15,  after a resident of Moo 8 was found to be infected with the Covid-19 virus. They have a  combined population of about 200.
