Trouble Getting My Money Out of My Thai Bank

I stayed in Thailand for a few months and opened an account with Bangkok Bank. I regret not closing the account before leaving but I have about a million baht/$30,000 USD in it.

It seems that Thailand has suspended the transfer of money out of the country temporarily. I only saw one person say this so I haven’t been able to verify.

I tried a dozen or so financial organizations PayPal/Western Union/Wise, etc. all restrict Thai transfers.

Can anyone confirm this? I can’t even use my Thai debit card to make non-Thai purchases.

Anyone have a reasonable solution?
