Eastern Pacific:
No tropical activity
At this time there are no active tropical systems in the eastern Pacific Ocean. However, we continue to monitor a broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles to the west-southwest of
the southern tip of Baja California. This area of low pressure continues to produce some disorganized showers and thunderstorms. While there remains a small window of opportunity for this area of low
pressure to develop into a tropical depression or storm, that window appears to be closing. Regardless of tropical development, this system is not expected to impact any landmasses.
Western Pacific:
