Hey guys,
So in January I will be travelling to Chiang Mai. I hope to stay (if possible) for two months but I know as a Canadian I can have 30 days in the country without a tourism visa as long as I show proof of exit etc.
My question is would it be easier to fly in to Thailand and get a visa extension once I’m there, or apply for a longer visa before my flight? (I don’t have a flight to Bangkok booked yet)
I’ve heard of people leaving the country briefly as well to get another VISA.
Please let me know if you need more info. Hopefully that is clear enough :)
