Transport Ministry’s 14 projects, worth ฿570Bn to start next year

The Ministry of Transport has unveiled 14 infrastructure projects, estimated to cost 570 billion baht, which it plans to begin before the end of 2024, according to Transport Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit.

The 14 projects are:

  • The 167km dual track railroad project between Khon Kaen and Nong Khai. Investment is estimated at about 29.7 billion baht.
  • The Orange Line train project between Bang Khun Non and Min Buri. Investment is estimated at about 140 billion baht and construction is expected to start in May.
  • Expansion of the 4.5km stretch of Highway 4027. Construction cost is estimated at 510 million baht and is expected to commence in August.
  • Construction of the Si Racha service centre on the M7 motorway between Chon Buri and Pattaya. Construction cost is estimated at about 1.6 billion baht and is expected to commence…
