Blue Tree Phuket is holding two running and training competitions as part of the “I Did It Series 2023” to prepare triathletes for a full-fledged competition to be held in November.
The first is “Swim Race”, which is open to participants under 17. It is divided into five categories with varying distances — 100m for ages 5-9; 200m for 10-11; 300m for 12-13; 400m for 14-15; and also 400m for 16-17.
It will take place on Sept 16 and the fee is 650 baht per person (550 baht for early birds who register by Thursday). Scheduled for Sept 23 is “Aquathlon Race”, which offers both individual and team categories for participants aged 12 and above.
The individual category includes a 300m swim and 1.5km run for those aged 12 to 15 years; and a choice between a 600m swim and 3km run and a 1.2km swim and 6km run for four age groups — 16-29 years, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up.
