The disappearance of Kawinna, or Fon, a 39 year old official from the Tambon Administration Organization (TAO) in Ban Na San, Surat Thani, has ended in tragedy. Last seen on November 13, the mystery surrounding her disappearance unravelled when her 39 year old ex-husband, Prasitporn, confessed to her murder.
Prasitporn, who was the last person to see Kawinna alive, initially told the police he had dropped her off at Rajabhat University in Surat Thani for her document-checking job. He claimed another car had come to pick her up and since then, he had not been able to contact her. Despite their divorce over a year ago, the pair still lived in the same house.
Prasitporn, in an interview with the media, vehemently denied any involvement in Kawinna’s disappearance. His mother also came forward to vouch for his character, stating that her son was incapable…
