The pickup truck of a renowned dragon troupe who were on their way to a Khon Kaen performance suffered a tyre blowout, resulting in a devastating accident.
The calamity occurred 70 kilometres before the troupe’s destination, turning Mittraphap Road into a scene of chaos. Police Colonel Peerachat, Superintendent’s Branch, Phon Police Station, and his team rushed to the area, responding to a report of an overturned pickup truck.
The pickup truck, bearing the registration number 1ป5406 from Bangkok, lay overturned in the middle of the road. The casualties were grim, with three lives lost: identified as 34 year old Thawatchai (surname withheld), 31 year old Khomkrit, and a 12 year old identified only as A. Meanwhile, 15 others suffered injuries.
