Tom Holland continues to mature and advance his acting chops in ‘Cherry’

It’s been a pleasure watching, or sometimes just listening to the voice of, Tom Holland since his acting career took off over the past decade. Most moviegoers saw and vividly remember his first big-screen appearance: He played Lucas, the oldest of three brothers who accompanied their parents on a vacation to Thailand, where they were all battered by a rampaging tsunami in “The Impossible.” Before long, he was a phone voice in “Locke,” a cabin boy in “In the Heart of the Sea,” and a son accompanying his explorer father in “The Lost City of Z.” A cameo in “Captain America: Civil War” introduced him as the newest actor to take on the role of Spider-Man, and he’s become a star due to it, four more times since then – twice in stand-alone Spidey films.
