TNH sets aside B3bn for hospital in Bang Na area

Mr Thiti says TNH will combine its medical expertise with world-class medical technology and family-like hospitality to achieve its goal.

Privately run Thainakarin Hospital (TNH) is planning to spend 3 billion baht building its second hospital in the Bang Na area this year to cash in on trends in healthcare, driven by Covid-19 and ageing demographics.

The hospital is interested in importing Covid-19 vaccines if allowed by the government, TNH chief executive Thiti Sihanatkathakul said yesterday.

The spread of the pandemic, an aged society and the growth of the wellness business are providing both opportunities and challenges to the hospital business.

“These factors encouraged us to invest in the new hospital to serve local and foreign patients in eastern Bangkok and eastern provinces,” said Mr Thiti.
