This weather pattern is due to a high-pressure system or cool air mass from China expanding to cover Vietnam and the South China Sea. It is expected to cover northeastern Thailand today. Meanwhile, an easterly wind is blowing across the eastern, lower central, and southern regions, coupled with a low-pressure trough covering Malaysia.
