So, I got approved with the prior pricing, which is 600k THB for 5 years, directly through Thai Elite. And as something recurrent with Thailand, there’s always trouble when dealing with anything official that should be simple: The payment must be sent in one unique payment as per “money laundering” laws, but any attempt so far hits a blocker:
* Using Wise or Revolut: Thai Elite bank is Krung Thai, which has a 49.999 THB limit per transfer for some Thai banking rules, so is literally impossible to send one unique payment from overseas.
* Using my local Thai account (Kasikorn): The online limit 500.000 THB per day, and I’m outside the country, so that’s my only option.
* Using debit/credit card has also a limit of around 10k Euro, and the receiving bank still has a receiving limit, so no go.
I’m European so US options may not be available on my end. I already contacted them to see if there’s any option, but I wonder if you have any suggestions or if you experienced this when paying for yours.
I cannot see how this would become easier with the new pricing, which is almost double.
Update: They replied that is possible to make multiple transactions due to the limit.
