Closed for months due to the pandemic, a charming speakeasy hidden in Thonglor thought it was time for something fun – drinks paying tribute to the great mystery-solver Sherlock Holmes.
008 Bar has introduced a new menu chronicling eight signature cocktails dedicated to Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective, who counts bar manager Oak Supaktorn among his fans.
“I read the books, watched the movies and series, everything,” Oak said during our visit Thursday.
Those coming in after a hard day and in need of a serious drink can opt for 7th July (THB420). Hardcore Holmesians may recognize that it’s the date of Doyle’s last day on earth.
