Thai food is good, but not exceptional, also I find Thai food not too different In Thailand compared to the one I get in USA, Japan or China. I think I had better tasting Thai food in Shanghai
Italian food in comparison, is exceptional in Italy, and is hard to find something as good outside of Italy. Same experience with Mexican and Chinese food, and also with some Japanese dishes
Night vibe is okay, is good to feel relatively safe in a developing country, which Is something I would like to feel in Mexico.
Personally the best night life it’s in Tokyo if you have enough social skills to hang out with locals.
Historical places aren’t that impressive like Mexico pyramids or European buildings
I think isn’t worth it if you come from Americas at least
Edit: sorry i believed i was in a Bangkok forum for some reason, so i referred to that city. Phuket has been much better (still not impressed with the food)
Im not from the USA, so stop roasting gringos. I said isnt worth coming from the americas IMO becase Mexico is in that continent, and this country is too far and we have competitive places to visit much closer to us
