hi! i’m staying in patong for 5 days this week as part of a tour group, a lot of activities are already planned but i will have some free time. i’ve heard mixed things about patong, i’m sure it’ll be fun but i do want to get out and explore a little on my own. does anyone have any recommendations for places to visit during the day that aren’t very far from patong and are relatively easy to get to? i’m pretty much up for anything but ideally something a bit calmer with good food. all suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
