The Okura Prestige Bangkok is back in operation with attractive offers and new services

The Okura Prestige Bangkok will open its doors to guests once again from 2 July 2020. During its closure the hotel was certified by Thailand’s Safety and Health Administration (SHA) and cited for its sanitation and safety standards.

Particularly attractive is the Buy One Get One Free offer, which is available for bookings and stays between 2 July and 31 August 2020. Priced at Baht 6,600++ per night for a Deluxe Room, it is inclusive of a choice of daily Japanese set breakfast at Yamazato Japanese restaurant or an international set breakfast at Up & Above Restaurant, or in the comfort of your room. There is complimentary stay for children under 12 years (maximum two children per room) with extra bed and daily breakfast, and a complimentary late checkout until 16:00 (subject to availability).

At Up & Above restaurant guests can enjoy the all-you-can-eat lunch with the first diner paying the full price and the second paying just Baht 88++; while with the all-you-can-eat dinner the second person pays Baht 888++, available from 2 to 31 July 2020. The all-you-can-eat lunch menu starts from Baht 1,200++ per person and the all-you-can-eat dinner menus start from Baht 1,800++ per person.

Next door at Up & Above Bar, Executive Chef Sebastiaan Hoogewerf has created a refreshing Lavender Afternoon Tea for two to enjoy. Available from 2 July until 30 September 2020, the price is from Baht 1,400++ inclusive of coffee or tea for two persons.

Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara at Michelin Plate restaurant Yamazato is serving special Gozen lunch and Kaiseki dinner treats to celebrate the traditional Tanabata Star Festival during 2 to 26 July 2020. A number of the dishes feature decorations and ingredients with a Tanabata theme, such as seasonal corn, sweet fish, cutlass fish and pike eel. Highlights of the nine-course Kaiseki dinner include vermicelli with seasonal sweet fish (ayu), a hearty soup of pike eel dumplings, and a grilled dish of Spanish mackerel and beef with leek miso sauce. Priced at Baht 1,600++ for Gozen lunch and Baht 4,700++ for Kaiseki dinner.
