The first-ever Bollywood style Holi Festival will be celebrated in Thailand –

This year, Thailand will be celebrating the renowned Hindu festival of Holi for the first time. Otherwise known as the festival of colors, it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the divine love of Radha and Krishna. The traditional observance involves smearing natural dyes on each other’s faces or pouring colored water. In modern times, however, colored flour mixed with food coloring is the preferred option.

The event in Bangkok will take place on March 12 from 1-10 pm at Bangkok World, near the Siam Amazing Park entrance. It will include performances by famous Bollywood singers, actors, and DJs in Thailand, as well as a ceremony of prayers to the Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, and the remover of obstacles, Ganesha, from March 8-12.
