Thank goodness, Fabulous Foursome no longer rule in the NFL

Over the past two decades, whenever the Philadelphia Eagles — Wiggins’ World’s hometown and still favourite NFL club — faced quarterbacks Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, WW would dread the outcome.

Invariably, each of that “Fabulous Foursome” would carve up the Eagles defence with intelligent and pinpoint passing.

But Wiggins’ World was not alone. That quartet has been terrorising all NFL cities since the early 2000s. But that’s ALMOST all over now, thank goodness.

Through retirement and a slight slippage in quality of play, that Fabulous Foursome no longer rule in the NFL.

Brady, Manning and Brees have retired. And Rodgers should give serious thought to hanging them up sooner rather than later.

A slipping Brees barely beat Father Time when he stepped down.

Manning waited a year too long but still had enough to win one more Super Bowl…
