Former Buriram United coach Masatada Ishii will take charge of the Thai national men’s football side, replacing German-Brazilian tactician Mano Polking, team manager Nualphan Lamsam confirmed on Wednesday.
The decision to end Polking’s two-year reign through “mutual consent” came after Thailand’s 3-1 victory at Singapore in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night.
