The Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) in Thailand has provided an update on the progress of the country’s digital government transformation. The DGA’s main goal is to digitize services through the mobile app called “Tang Rat”. They are making strides in driving a digital government at various levels, including Government to Citizens (G2C), Government to Business (G2B), and Government to Government (G2G).
At the G2C level, the DGA has connected over 112 government services to serve citizens through the Tang Rat app. This mobile app brings together services from all state agencies in one place, making it convenient for people to access services on digital platforms. There have been over 7.5 million logins and 607,041 downloads of the app, with plans to include more services2024.
