The “Delightful Colours Of The River, Loi Krathong Celebrations 2023” will light up the waterways to mark the beginning of the Thailand Winter Festival, which also features the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok, Vijit Chao Phraya, and Amazing Thailand Countdown and Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges.
From this Friday until Nov 28, Bangkok’s Phadung Krung Kasem Canal, Chiang Mai, Roi Et, Samut Songkhram, Sukhothai and Tak will serve as key spots for residents and tourists to release krathong in honour of the Goddess of Water.
With its success, the Vijit Chao Phraya light extravaganza is back for its second edition. Firework displays, light shows, projection mapping and cultural performances will highlight Bangkok’s historical sites and famous attractions on both banks of the Chao Phraya River.
