A drone carries medicine and medical supplies to far away recipients under the ‘Delivers Wellness’ project, the country’s first medicine delivery service using drones to fly from hospitals to homes.
Thailand Post has kicked off its “Delivers Wellness” project, which sees the country’s biggest parcel delivery company use drones to deliver medicine to people in remote areas.
The project still needs more development through partnership with others to transform the transport industry in Thailand, the company said.
On Wednesday a drone was deployed to deliver medicine to people in Sing Buri province, witnessed by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, who visited the province to observe the flooding situation.
