Thailand Post launches new advertising service

Thailand Post has rolled out its first postcard advertising service and started signing up political parties for their upcoming election campaigns.

The firm’s advertising postcards will cost 3.50 baht each.

This amount includes the cost of delivery to destination addresses and a made-to-order graphic design to introduce parties’ candidates and policies.

The move is the agency’s latest service to complement the traditional leaflet or brochure that politicians hire Thailand Post to deliver to residential addresses. The cost of this service is 1.50 baht per address.

According to Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, chief executive of Thailand Post, several well-known parties have already signed contracts to use the advertising postcard service.

However, he declined to elaborate on the targeted revenue of the new service.
