Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has promised a new chapter in Thailand’s democratic development by strengthening its democratic institutions and values, while improving the well-being of Thai people.
Srettha has pledged that Thailand will play a proactive and constructive role, in partnership with the international community, and will forge closer ties and greater prosperity through commerce, investment and trade agreements, leading to the betterment of all.
He was delivering his statement at the UN General Assembly on September 22, on the theme of “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all.”
