Abandoned Baby Body Found Near Thai Temple, Investigation Underway
In a disturbing discovery in Uthai Thani province, Thailand, police officers and rescue workers were called to the scene of an abandoned baby’s body near Wat Huay Phra Chan temple on December 15, 2022. The infant was found in a pink cloth bag by the roadside, within which lay a plastic bag containing the lifeless body of the baby. An envelope with 20 baht and a letter was found in front of the bag, a sad missive requesting a monk to conduct a ceremony for the deceased child, who allegedly died due to premature birth and oxygen deprivation.
