Thailand has picked up several accolades for favourable credit, investment worthiness and the strength of its public health sector, says government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri.
The country has maintained its strong position in investment and public health areas in the eyes of international community, he said, citing recent surveys.
Thailand has topped this year’s ranking in Bloomberg’s Top Emerging Markets list, which indicates potential for the country’s economic recovery thanks to the government’s economic stimulus and investment promotion measures.
Mr Anucha said Thailand also came out top in last year’s Bloomberg Survey where it was ranked least miserable country for 2020.
Thailand also claimed the number one spot on the US News’s Best Countries to Start a Business 2020. It also emerged second in the US News’s Best Countries to Invest In 2020.
