Thai Vietjet expands ‘Garbage Hunter’ programme

Continuing its commitment to protecting the environment under the Fly Green Fund, Thai Vietjet hosted its first-ever Garbage Hunter: Scuba Project, an extension of the environmental initiative Garbage Hunter, at Samae San Island in Chon Buri on Monday.

The Garbage Hunter team was founded in early 2022 with a mission to remove garbage from various places in Thailand, raise environmental awareness among airline staff and members, drive sustainability awareness, and reduce trash and waste. Since its establishment, Thai Vietjet has successfully hosted over 10 editions of Garbage Hunter events across Thailand, including Phuket, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Krabi and Udon Thani.
