Thai Union nets record $250m profit on restaurant rebound

BANGKOK — Thai Union Group, the world’s largest seller of canned tuna, saw group net profit grow 28% to an all-time high of 8 billion baht ($250 million) in 2021 as the reopening of restaurants and hotels hit by the coronavirus pandemic boosted demand.
