Thai restaurant takes Springfield building; Roost adds Republic spot

Thai restaurant opening in former Smith’s location

A new Thai restaurant is looking to move into the former Smith’s Restaurant location, 2808 S. Campbell Ave., and is looking to open this fall.

According to the Missouri Secretary of State, Nett Restaurant Group registered “Simply Thai” at the location on June 29. Nett Restaurant Group also runs Thai Express.

“Simply Thai is expecting to open late September, early October. We will be adding a curbside to-go section of the parking lot for more options and convenience for our customers,” said Danielle Cawley, corporate manager.
