Thai Prime Minister Explores Major Business Opportunities with U.S. Companies

At 4:00 PM (San Francisco local time), on November 14th, 2023, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, the Thai Prime Minister, publicly revealed a discussion with major private business sectors in the U.S. market.

One of the biggest retail stores, Walmart, seeks to expand its business opportunities on Thai products such as Thai local food and Halal food which have been sold in many states already.
Srettha further added that during a meeting with Western Digital company, the biggest hardware manufacturer in Thailand, that they reportedly seek to relocate its main base to Thailand and invest more in the Thai market.

A discussion with AWS executives, one of the Amazon subsidiaries, had signed a contract on investment and will soon establish its data center, a cloud service, Srettha added.
Furthermore, Srettha expressed his warm welcome on signing an MOU with Google company and Microsoft on the data center.
However, Srettha would further enhance the Thai industrial sector up to universal world class standards in the near future.
“With the good quality of education and medical sectors in Thailand, many foreign investors showed a sign of satisfaction on the quality of living in Thailand which is considered a strength that allows Thailand to stand firm and compete on the world stage,” concluded the Thai Prime Minister.
