Thai language media recommendations

Stephen [Krashen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6HuAlHpERA) has a theory of second language learning. You need to a lot of listening and reading in the language you are learning. The brain will naturally take care of the rest.

>*The best methods are therefore those that supply ‘comprehensible input’ in low anxiety situations, containing messages that students really want to hear. These methods do not force early production in the second language, but allow students to produce when they are ‘ready’, recognizing that improvement comes from supplying communicative and comprehensible input, and not from forcing and correcting production.*

Given that, I have been looking for Thai television shows, podcasts, youtube channels… I like shorter content and clear standard Thai speech.

Early days I tried [Thai Fairy Tales](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsumlVX7Mp724XM8AAPV-jQ). Vocabulary was hard. They are also boring, if you are not ten years old.

[หน้าต่างบนโลก](https://www.thaipbspodcast.com/podcast/worldfocus) is a podcast presenting international news. Easier to follow than Thai news.

[NANAKE555](https://www.youtube.com/c/NANAKE555/playlists). On the call-in show you hear two Thai people speaking to each other, so you’re getting real Thai speech.

The host of this [show](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRS4T4F2sF1oM7Rb5kfZx1Rp7RfvlDgcG) goes around Thailand meeting the locals. Helpfully repetitive.

The Netflix series [Bangkok Breaking](https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/bangkok_breaking/s01) was recommended a few times. I did not finish it.

What do you recommend?
