BANGKOK — King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand opened on Monday the first parliamentary session since the historic May 14 election won by the progressive Move Forward Party.
“Please keep in mind that you were chosen by the people to represent them in exercising legislative power and to consider various laws for the government to use as a principle to administer the country,” the king said in a brief address.
