Thai-China visa exemption to be signed during Wang Yi’s visit

State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi of China will commence his four-day official visit to Thailand today, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s press release.

During his four-day official visit, Wang Yi and his Thai counterpart : Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara will co-sign the Agreement on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports and Passports for Public Affairs, which will come into effect on March 1.

He will pay an official visit to Thailand as a guest of the Foreign Affairs ministry from January 26 to 29. The primary objectives of his visit are to enhance cooperation between Thailand and China in areas such as trade, investment, security, culture, tourism, and to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest.
