Taxi / hotel transfer? Late flight arrival

Hi all,
I’m aware that rideshare apps or the bus is the cheapest- but our flight from Sydney gets in at night (like 2am Sydney time) and I’m not sure with a large group (9 people) I care too much about the $$. Will it be tricky to coordinate taxis for everyone or should I just go with the higher price asked by the hotel to simplify this? Thanks for any input
