Tattoo question

Hi all

I’m travelling to Thailand in the next few months and I have a Buddha on my leg as a tattoo ( please no judgement I don’t do this to disrespect anyone )

Most of the time I will be wearing pants but for times I can’t if too hot or on beaches I was thinking of putting a bandaid over it? I don’t want to seem like I’m disrespecting anyone and at the time of getting this done I didn’t even think would be an issue but upon researching can see it may be !
